Description: 1. We’d like to commission an illustration/painting of 10 friends. It is supposed to be light hearted and a bit of fun as a wedding present to one of our friends. His name is Vivek and he is “captain”

2. The idea is that the artist will review photos, speak to us and get to know our style/personality, spend some time doing some research and then put together a concept for us

3. The concept this was inspired from was an interpretation of the famous “Last Supper” painting of Jesus and his 12 disciplines found in an old pizza bakery in New York City. The pizza bakery has a mural that depicts family members in fun/different poses with relevant symbols and features strewn across the scene (eg wheat, wine, pizza of course). There might be alternative ways to do this kind of interpretation but we thought the Last Supper idea was cool and could make sense for us. Other ideas could be a sports team style setting. Or a reservoir dogs style pose. You can see a photo of the Last Supper interpretation upon request

4. Our group, known as #ATL always have a really good time together, have known each other for 20 years and been very close friends. For our close knit group, the kind of imagery that would be suitable might be snapback caps, sporting equipment like brightly colored soccer cleats, soccer balls, cricket bats, cricket balls, colorful outfits, smart outfits (think clubbing or blacktie), boxing, golf, bottles of champagne/whisky, cigars, shisha pipes, the motif #ATL, etc. We have also had memorable trips to Ibiza, Las Vegas, Tenerife (Spain), Kos (Greece), New York, Cancun (Mexico), Miami, Goa and Thailand. There might be a cool travel concept as well.

5. Please review instagram posts to get a sense for each of us. There are 10 people in total that should appear in the mural.

6. This does not need to be a brush painting but can take the form of other illustrative styles. We’d be open to a digital illustration that can then be printed, if painting is not your style. Definitely looking to discuss and get the best solution. Open to spray can as well, but want to have recognizable faces and detail.

7. The size we’re looking for is fairly large for a hall

8. We are willing to discuss budget and would like to hear quotes.
