"Design an original poster for a music event. Include the essential information about the event such as date, address, and price.

For this project, you will:

1) Create a 24" x 36" Artboard (vertical layout).

2) Use guides for your layout.

3) Organize all artwork into labeled layers.

4) Create a color scheme, saving it as a New Color Group in your Swatches panel.

5) Apply gradients and/or the Gradient Mesh tool.

6) Create an original vector logo for the event using drawing tools and type tools.

7) Apply the type tools to include the essential event information such as date, address, and price.

8) Create a new Symbol in your Symbols panel. Apply multiple instances of this symbol in the design.

9) Utilize tools, effects, and techniques that we have covered in this course to communicate the story of the event in an iconic and unique way.

10) Package the Illustrator file so that any linked images and all fonts are included. There is no need to outline fonts in this assignment because all of the fonts will already be included in the packaged folder.
