- I need a reliable, long-term artist or artists to work with us on a map-based RPG funded on Kickstarter/Indiegogo. Here is a link to the campaign; https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/imperium-omni-to-rule-all-epic-fantasy-video-rpg
The attached image is precisely what we are looking for. It was done by our previous artist who is no longer available.
We need the cost on a per-map basis to be reduced in order to accommodate our very limited budget. We have 15 months, so we need about 2 maps per month. Based on the quotes we get and the quality of the artists, we may need to hire two or more artists.
The reduction in cost should consider (a) long-term, multi-map commitment, and (b) early works would need to be done from scratch, but as each map gets built, we want the artist to re-use everything possible; textures, tiles, buildings, structures, items, etc. This will reduce the time to create each work, helping with the speed as well as justifying the reduced per-map-cost.
This game is actually just the beginning - there are 6 other major areas in the game, each requiring another set of maps, and there are 3 more complete games planned, therefore, if we find a good artist(s), we'll be sure to keep you working for years, if you like.
Make the quote on a total of 30 maps, considering the above cost-reduction measures. Payment will be on a per-map basis (likely portioned out 2 at a time). You must be able to provide some portfolio references, or create a sample.
