- My name's Amanda and I’m the project manager of an upcoming travel niche site.
The site will be overseen by a highly motivated team that are heavily invested in making this site a success.
For that, we need an exceptional writer who truly understands the ins and outs of travel. We are looking for "authority" type articles such as "How to" or "~~Tips" from qualified travel writers.
This is not a 1-time job only but a long term freelance position.
Our target price: $20/1000 words, pls don't apply if you can't accept the price

So what exactly do we expect from you?
As a writer, it will be your job to research and investigate in the travel niche, provide in-depth analysis and come up with definitive decision-making commentary. [If you wish, you might want to add additional requirements, for example video creation, podcast voice etc.]
Naturally, in order to do this, you'll have to have had some experience with various aspects of travel experience.
We expect you to have an active input on the website and share your ideas with the team on how we can improve certain processes. This is your chance to partake in a role far more engaging than a simple writing job and allow you to really leave your unique stamp on the site.
Outcomes:
. Ongoing high-quality content will be produced in a timely manner
. Editorial quality standards are consistently exceeded
. Writing systems and processes are continually improved
. Minimal spelling and grammar (AP style based) corrections are required
Competencies:
. A strong understanding of how to create exceptional content
. Practical experience in travel
. Exceptional English language ability with impeccable written English
. Willingness to go beyond a simple writer role and share thoughts and opinions on the website as a whole
. Strong research skills
. A thorough understanding of the world of online marketing

. Ability to work across virtual teams
. The ability to continually improve quality and systems
