- We are health practitioners providing services to women in their 40s through 60s who are dealing with menopause and related life transition issues. We are looking for an experienced blogger to maintain and promote our practice's blog. Here are the key responsibilities:
1. Write an article, 600-800 words on average. Topic selection to be discussed.
2. Find an appropriate free legal photo to go with it.
3. Write the text of an email to our mailing list promoting the article. The content of the email will be different from the article itself. It should be an advertisement for the article: start a conversation with the recipient in an informal way, introduce the issue covered in the article, show a preview of the article and a link to our blog to finish reading it - something along those lines.
4. Write the text of a Facebook post with the same goal as the above mailing but shorter and appropriate for Facebook, taking into account space and other constraits.
5. Write the text of an Instagram description advertising the article.
6. Post the article on our web site, create a mailing in MailChimp, and post on our Facebook pages (we have 2) and on Instagram.
In summary, you'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the article. Note the following when making your bid:
- Make a quote per article based on the above criteria. Project budget is a placeholder only.
- Native English speakers strongly preferred.
- When you apply, mention your blogging experience as well as your experience working with the demographic matching our clients. What helps you understand what they are going through and relate to them?
We realize that not everyone wants to deal with posting material on the blog, FB, Mailchimp, etc. Therefore step 6 is optional. If you'd rather just do the writing (Steps 1 - 5), note that in your proposal. The compensation will need to be adjusted if we eliminate the posting tasks from the job requirements.
