PURPOSE OF THE APP:
The role is to build an App for an online enquiry service, optimised for all devices, on Android and Apple ios.
The App will need to be tested and then uploaded to Apple Store and Google Play/ Samsung App Store. We currently have a Google Play account opened.
The App will enable users to interact with the website backend and its services.
The website/ platform is custom built using Ruby on Rails. It is a functioning, working website.
The aim is to enable people to do the same things as with the website but via an App from any device.
We will have full ownership of the code and the App when completed. You must sign an NDA and Developer Agreement before work begins.
Website platform is built using ROR and is already functional.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONALITY:
The platform (App) offers opportunity for the Users to log-on, create an account and submit their questions for a reply with our advice.
This is done within the User’s own control panel.
User will be able to;
• Create an account
• Enter their question or seek answer to a problem
• Load up to 5 documents with their enquiry.
• User can choose which level of service they require (bronze, silver or gold service).
• User pays a fee for the level of service plan they select.
• Payment is done using “Stripe” and payment details can be entered into the App.
• The User’s information / submission is received by our office and our expert sends a reply to the User.
• User can then reply to ask one clarification to the question and send to us.
• Our expert sends a final reply and then the User enquiry is marked as closed.
• User is then requested to leave a feed-back and this can be done.
Currently the replies and interactions go via our website Platform which sends the correspondence and answers to the User’s control panel. Notifications are sent also to the User email address. The backend of the Platform handles all of the admin tasks.
APP FUNCTIONS/ PAGES:
The App will need to offer the above functions but will also enable Users to see the information displayed on the Platform pages. These are;
• Home page
• About Us
• Announcements and updates/ News
• Contact
• Ts&Cs/ Terms of Use
• Privacy Policy.
A very important consideration within the App, is the function for the User to request further face to face assistance/ appointment/ phone call/ Skype call with our expert. These phone calls/ Skype etc are done offline and not within the App itself.
In many ways, the functions of the App are a reflective version of the main website platform.
DEVELOPMENT & DELIVERY TIME:
The App should be ready, tested and uploaded to the App stores within 1 (one) month from start of the project.
ADDITIONAL IFNORMATION:
The App will require an icon.
A ‘Grid’ screen appearance is preferred for the App on the User’s device.
The App can sit on the User’s device and activated by them by logging on or off – login/ logoff.
EXTRA CONDITIONS:
Only experienced team will be welcome to send a proposal.
No money will be released until App is finished, tested and loaded in App stores ready to go.
Progress milestones will be set and must be met.
At least 1 month After Support periodfrom launch of App must be given.
Revisions will be needed until the App is working properly according to Spec and Agremeent.
Good English standard is required.
