- We are looking for a quote for the following job below. Please submit bids with an included breakdown of hourly rate with time duration for each milestone or a total project cost with breakdown of approximate time duration per milestone.
This job is part one of a multi-job project. We are establishing a minimum viable product for a larger scoped project. If this project is successful and your work is excellent we will hire you on for additional work with this project.
This part of the job includes creating an ASP.NET mvc web application with only a few pages total. Three of these pages will contain forms to call and submit content to a database. There will be two unique workflows. One workflow includes submitting form data, integrating a Paypal purchase\checkout option, sending an automated email on purchase, and updating the database on purchase. The second workflow includes searching the database for a record, creating a shipping label using the UPS api (I have a working api code sample), and sending the shipping label in an email. We do not need styles, css, or website art. We simply require bootstrap theme.
We want a visual studio solution provided that can be tested locally within Visual Studio 2019 community edition (how we have been testing up till now). We will then be publishing from visual studio to azure.
I am the developer lead for this project and have a background in .NET, sql, and API integration. We will be providing a few mock-up sketches and can provide additional database model details for what we have in mind.
We are looking for a rapid start to development, good pricing to start this initial project, and a good relationship for future projects.
We plan to have a few milestones throughout the project development.
Milestone 1. Basic ASP.NET webpage with database:
Index page containing a link to a "sticker" app page
The sticker app home page will contain one landing page with a single form text box to search the database for a string entry. If the entry is not found, then workflow #1 is started. The string entry not being found will prompt the user to register with a "register button". The register button will take the user to a page for registration. The registration page should have a registration form. This form will pre-populate a text box with the searched string and also include the ability to enter registration info (name, email, phone, address, device type). A "register" button will serve to submit the user data into the database. We know Milestone one is fairly easy and want to get this done as soon as possible. We can talk database scheme on start of project.
Milestone 2. Paypal purchase\checkout integration and email confirmation
Once a user has entered their data a paypal checkout option should be available. This checkout option will ask for Paypal payment amount based off of the device type. When Paypal checkout is complete a confirmation message (or confirmation page) should be displayed and an email should be sent to the registered email address. This email should be customizable and contain a link to update the users data (name, email, phone, address). We would very much like a duration breakdown for this milestone.
Milestone 3. Database query, API integration, emaling
The second workflow includes searching the database for a record, creating a shipping label using the UPS api (I have a working api code sample), and sending the shipping label with barcode in an email. We would very much like a duration breakdown for this milestone and to know what API's you have completed projects with. Project examples or links that we can verify are excellent.
