- An education provider is looking for a developer experienced with integrating commercially available storefront and ecommerce applications, Infusionsoft, Xero and APIs for deep application integration.
Two types of products are sold: (1) “event-based” training (ie face-to-face and online), and (2) physical hardcopy materials (ie training manuals, books etc). Both can be bought at the same time.
This is a one-time project to automate and integrate a number of disparate and largely manual processes. It may lead to an ongoing support contract for maintaining the system’s integrity.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Currently all sales are handled via phone and fax. Sales date is manually entered into Infusionsoft (for CRM and marketing purposes), and again into Xero (for invoicing and accounting purposes).
The sale of some products is restricted to “approved customers” only and requires a manual approval process. Other products are unrestricted. Often they appear on the same purchase order.
Many of our customers require invoicing, and only a minority are able to pay via credit/debit card. The system must be able to handle both, and sync the sales date with Xero .
Hardcopy materials and “event-based” training is often purchased on the same purchase order and the system needs to be able to handle this level of complexity.
The sale of “event-based” training will need to trigger an appropriate Infusionsoft Campaign that either automates the registration process (face-to-face training), or issues logins (online training).
For the sale of physical hardcopy materials, the system will also need to create a pick-n-pack list to be sent to the warehouse for dispatch.
All individual elements of the final system need to use commercially available software and applications, sourced from reputable providers that are leading in their segment.
