- I am needing an app for a device running Android 8.1 that will detect incoming SMS and MMS and automatically send a preset reply.
The app should be capable of being set as the default SMS/MMS app on the phone.
The app should not notify the user about the message.
The app will automatically reply to incoming SMS and MMS with non-user-settable string: "This phone does not receive text messages".
The app will delete any incoming messages and not display the message to the user.
The UI for the app will be a single Activity showing only a TextView stating "This phone does not receive text messages." and a single "OK" button at the bottom.
