Description: Hello

I’m looking for somebody to create the software for a factually accurate star map generator.

Something similar to this, although there’re many others: https://micastarmaps.com/create-star-map

The map will need to be updated based on the user’s location and date, and can use a freely available star catalogue such as the yale bright star catalogue.

The locations of the stars shown will depend on the longitude and latitude of the user, and time of day.

Items such as the grid and constellation outlines need to be options for the user to select.

Colours need to be customisable.

If you think this is something you would be able to help create please get in contact to discuss. I am flexible on budget depending on how much of this project you can do, however i am currently looking a working code & catalogue/database to
be created first.

The website will be hosted on shopify.
