Description: Looking to discuss a project with a Computer Vision developer. We have an idea and a rough start with an application, but would like to take it to the next level. This could turn into a long term position.

Currently - we have a python script that can pull from a video source (either video file or RTSP stream). This uses OpenCV & Python. The application detects when a person enters a bounding box, and when the person leaves. Currently - the data is written to a log file (person 1 detected at time.. person2 detected at time..etc)

I would like to work with an engineer and make sure this is the correct technology. It seems like it takes a lot of system resources.

Next steps would be when a person is detected, it writes the data to a log file, as well as posts to a rest API to create a bookmark in our Video Surveillance system.

If we can be successful with this part and have it running as a proof of concept, then I would like to look at turning this into a windows application. Other idea is to integrate it to our video surveillance system.
