How To Become More Productive

Posted 16 April 2020

Are you becoming less productive at work? Well, here are some ways to boost your productivity and get more energy at work.

1.Drink Water

When you are stuck at your desk, it’s very easy to forget to take water. Even worse, you might be showing some signs of dehydration without knowing. If you are feeling less productive, you should take some water rather than refilling your cup of coffee. You will feel rejuvenated immediately.

2.Eat Chocolate

Dark chocolate is the best way to get out of the afternoon slump and indulge your sweet tooth. You can also make some hot chocolate with raw cacao powder for the same effect. As long as it’s dark chocolate, you can boost your productivity and avoid those lazy afternoons.

3.Get Outside

Take a walk around the block to reset your mind and mood. It is the best way to get some fresh air and sun on your skin. You should take deep breaths, listen to your favorite song, meditate and clear your mind. Soon enough your mind will feel fresh and rejuvenated to handle the rest of your work day.

4.Dance

Dancing is always a good energy booster. A quick dance in your office will boost your mind effortlessly. Listening to a great song will activate the same part of your brain as sex. Moving, even for a short time, will increase your blood flow. Dance out the boredom and get back to work feeling more productive – remember more productive workers and people lower risk in the workplace and get more done.

5.Mix It Up

Switch from one task to the other to revamp your mind and refocus your energy. It’s the best way to beat the slump on a lazy day at work. Set a timer to move from one task to the other to remain motivated and engaged.

6.Smell Citrus

Do you have a citrus fruit such as a grapefruit, orange or lemon? You can boost your energy by sniffing it. Add some lemon into your water to increase the PH level of your water to allow better hydration. If you don’t like these fruits, you can sniff some citrus-scented candle for the same effect.

7.Drink Tea

Taking a few cups of tea every day can reduce stress. It will also balance your energy levels. You can’t go wrong with iced tea. It’s the best way to remain fresh and boost your productivity levels in the office.

8. Relax

Whether you are chilling in your living room or off to bed your surroundings will help you to relax and switch off from your day at work. Take a look at Rooms to Go and treat yourself to some new furniture. When you relax at home you will be more productive in the office!

Say goodbye to slumps in the office, thanks to these amazing tips!
