- Hi there!
I am writing a series of children's books and would like illustrations for them. The stories are between 40-45 words altogether - they are not long! They are designed to be read by learners of English, primarily in China. An example story is written below. Anything included in the brackets are my ideas on what I would like to be drawn.
I plan on creating a number of books, and so finding an illustrator who can make my idea come to life would be incredibly appreciated.

Tom has a pet. (Tom, a boy, stands next to his dog)
It needs to go to see the vet. (A building appears to the right, with vet written at the top)
It is not happy. (The dog looks sad, looking at the reader)
"I hate the vet." (The dog looks sadder, looking at the building)
"When I think of it…" (Close up on the dog's face, Tom isn't visible)
...I feel upset." (Tom's hand reaches down to pat the dog on the head, only Tom's hand and wrist are visible here)
Tom can see. (Zoom out to see Tom touching the dog on the head)
Tom starts to sweat. (Beads of sweat form on Tom's face - maybe a close up here)
So, Tom found a new vet on the internet. (Tom is back at home, on the computer)

I do not require elaborate backgrounds, just simple clear images such as the image of the boy below.
If possible, please quote a price per drawing or per book - each book has 8-10 pages and will feature images like those attached to this advert.
