- Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy, this job involves all aspects of retail design, from packaging, to store POP, to digital mailers. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, with a passion for retail and is comfortable in both the digital and print worlds. Capable of producing visually compelling and sophisticated designs, they have the ability to follow and implement brand guidelines and principles. Organizational skills, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is critical.
The Graphic Designer will be part of a 10-person Sales and Marketing team, based in our Head Office (410/407 in Brampton), working directly alongside 1-2 other graphic designers at any time.
Responsibilities:
-Part of a 2-3 person Graphic Design team, based in our Head Office (410/407 in Brampton)
-Hands-on design of retail assets such as product packaging, point-of-purchase (POP) signage, brochures, etc.
-Hands-on design of web assets such as e-flyers, website banners, landing pages, emails
-Ability to articulate and execute a design vision on demand with limited direction
-Ability to work quickly on multiple brands and multiple projects on fast-paced deadlines
-Able to update existing HTML templates in Dreamweaver
Requirements:
-3+ years hands-on experience in graphic design (preferably retail and web design)
-Expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver
-Comfortable in a Windows environment
-Design portfolio of past work (please provide link)
-Excellent written and spoken English
