- Hi all, i am developing a children's animation book a la Raymond Briggs - The Snowman. I am seeking an artist for hire to draw an image from a photograph of the two characters, ie a man and a dog, and then to continue to place those characters into the story narrative with various scenes as the story book progresses. There will be circa 200 images in the book. Although the artist will be credited on the credits of the book, all rights for the production and development will rest with the developers and producers.
I would need to see samples of the artists pencil drawing style to begin as a simple audition process, thereafter we will pay the artist should he/she be chosen to create a pencil drawing from the original image which we possess. The story is a true one. The entire story book will be in black and white or plain pencil and will consist of the main two characters and various backgrounds and other characters in the same style. There will be some variance as to sizes in the images, one page for instance in the story book could hold 12 images in little boxes and then two pages could hold one image. Please submit your best pencil drawn work for consideration and we wish you well.
