- I am seeking someone interested in creating six, four-panel images for me that will be used on outdoor 4x4-inch poles and separately on 4 4-inch-wide planks. They must be simple and enable someone to be more mindful when they look at them. This series of art pole images will each carry a theme that allows someone looking at it to enter a hidden garden of space in their mind, for a memory, a thought, a brief bit of time. Here are some details and feel free to ask questions. I can pay up to $100 for each design or a total of $600 upon acceptance of the completed works. All right are transferred to the client.
6 Poles - (three 4’ tall poles 3x3”), three 6’ tall poles 4x4) Described in more detail as:
6’ poles have a different image on each facing
4” poles have a single image on front-facing and supporting imagery on the other three sides)
All of the poles can combine as many colors as desired and will explore the following themes:
1. Joy, Happiness, Shared Cause, Thank You
2. Surprise, Celebrate, Reminisce
3. Marriage, Anniversary, Milestone
4. Wind, Rain, Earth
5. Sun, Stars, Dreams
6. Ocean, Water, Sand, Shell
Create a story by what you create and do not start with the end image in mind. We instead want someone who creates by expressing an emotion or a burst of momentum. Some type of catalyst that gets you going. It takes guts. That is the type of artistic partner we want.
For the best fit, you’ll be familiar with materials or media such as painting across multiple boards to make a connected image, working with different materials such as paints, stains, woods, metals, and glass. All of those things can be included in the art pole images you create.
In addition to vector .ai and .psd files we wish you to list out what is included in each pole in terms of colors, textures, materials and other accents. We wish to ultimately make some of the poles and want to stress material and manufacturing processes that maximize repeatability. We’d like you to stay involved.
Design Generation and Review
Complete a series of six designs.
1. Concept Sketches (ten)
2. Discussion and Refinement of Drawings (select or refine to six)
3. Story, Emotions and Market Interest (Discuss Themes)
4. Review and Consideration (Drawings presented, two done first to ensure we are on the right path)
