- I'm a film director, screenwriter and producer based in the UK.
For 2018 I released a short film every month to YouTube for my 6000 subscribers. I have amassed over 1.5 million total views on YouTube. I've been listed as one of the top 15 rising filmmakers outside of London by Levile TV. The Raindance Film Festival published an article about my work. I was featured in the Birmingham Mail and interviewed live on BBC radio.
This year I am planning on producing my debut feature-length film. I am in need of an animated logo for my film production company 'Catharsis Films'. This animated logo is to be shown in the opening credits of my film.

I make films that are dark, gritty and often tragic. I like making films in the thriller genre such as crime and psychological.
I came up with the name 'Catharsis Films' from the use of the word "catharsis" by Aristotle in his book 'Poetics'. He refers to the word "catharsis" as the effect that a tragic play has on the mind and body of the audience.
Collins Dictionary defines the word "catharsis" as "getting rid of unhappy memories or strong emotions such as anger or sadness by expressing them in some way."

Feel free to design the logo whichever way you feel is best. It can be as short as 4 seconds or long as 13 seconds max. It can be silent, have music, just sound effects or a mix of music and sound effects. You have total freedom as long as the logo matches my company theme and looks professional and cinematic enough for the big screen.
Deliverables:
*A 16x9 2K ProRes MOV file
*The same 16x9 version of the logo adjusted for a 2.35:1 crop as a 2K ProRes MOV file
*The project file(s), elements and list of third-party plugins (if any) needed to open the project on whichever software(s) you used to design the logo
