- Hi Harley,
We are looking to replicate the idea of Goby the fish sculpture located outside a hotel in Bali. It is a larger than life-size outline of a goby fish that invites people to deposit their rubbish inside rather than on the beach.
We would like to commission a hollow wire sculpute of a turtle by a local artist if possible to serve the same function. We will have school children in the area collect as much plastic as they can to prevent it from getting into general rubbish and waterways by depositing it in the sculpture.
The objective is to raise awareness about ocean pollution and to show that the only turtle to eat plastic should be this one.
The time frame is rather short as we would need the structure to be complete by early to mid-July. Do you think that this commission would suit you. If so could you please give me an idea of your fee.
