- I am looking to get a cover (front and back) designed for a kindle short story. The book focuses on a man who doesn't realise he has died and is now seeking to make sense of his surroundings. He is within his old Victorian house which he has lived in for many years but the situations and the people within seem to be very unusal. As such artwork with focus on a house would be ideal. See the synopsis of the short story below and covers I would like to take inspiration from attached:
A Father’s Fury synopsis for Kindle ‘description’
Fergus Darroch woke up to an overwhelming feeling that this was the day he might die. It could have something to do with the dark abyss in his memory banks where his last desperate act lay hidden for fear of reprisals. Perhaps it came from the panic he felt when his wife Eve refused to communicate with him. More likely though, was the sinister and increasing presence of salacious spectres darting around his beautiful Victorian home, draining his very life’s blood. Fergus realized too late that his negligence and inability to protect what he held dear allowed a malevolent spirit to take over the dwelling that once was his sanctuary.
Fergus, a charming, successful, 55-year-old business man, was determined to fight these ghostly invaders himself and bring everything back to the way it should be. Family tragedy and disappointment plagued much of his earlier life but with this battle forcing him to draw on the strength he once had as a younger version of himself and rescue an endangered future, he vows to find out what has happened to his missing children, provide a haven for his future grandchildren and heal old wounds with his surviving siblings. It is not until he unleashes a fury that no living creature can withstand that the deadly truths are revealed.
