- Hello,
I'm planning to launch a new hair oil product in the market, which has anti-hairfall properties. This oil needs to be applied directly to the roots of the hair, and hence needs a comb-type applicator. This is essentially a screw on cap, which has hollow teeth on top, which can guide the oil directly to the roots of the hair.
The individual teeth need to be wide enough to allow free passage of oil (especially in cold conditions) whereas ensuring that too much oil doesn't spill on to the scalp. The method of application would be to invert the bottle and comb the scalp with this applicator, so that oil flows down to the scalp. The comb may be shaped in such a way that it helps this function. Neck size for the screw on function is 20mm (may be subject to change in the course of the project. This needs to be flexible).
There are some options available in the market currently, but I would prefer not to share them, as I want our brand to be really unique and look different. Hence, the person who takes on this project will have to be an original thinker who can give ideas which are unique, yet realistic.
Deliverables:
1. 3 options (not small iterations, but completely different concepts) for the comb applicator.
2. 2D and 3D models of each. (Require formats which can be directly 3D printed)
3. CAD drawing, with dimensions, to be directly used in mould making.
