- Hello,
We have developed a remote monitoring device that needs a sleek and simple NEMA3R outdoor enclosure for all weather outdoor installations. There will need to be 3 total entry points into the enclosure for 3 types of wires that need to terminate inside the enclosure. I am envisioning water proof cable glands/strain relief coming out the bottom only. Wires will be small so 1/2" openings should be plenty.
The challenge is to come up with a universal mounting plate that can be mounted onto wood, stucco, uni-strut or pole mounted. Then the enclosure should be able to easily, but securely attach to this mounting plate. If pole mounted a simple adjustable metal hose clip.
Rough size of enclosure will be 6"tall x 4"wide x 2.5" deep. Exact details will be sent to person who wins the job. The job right now is simply to create a draft design mainly for a visual representation to show perspective clients, etc.
