- Hi,
We have a collection of old engineering drawings of automotive parts. I am hoping to have them cleaned up so that we can use them and distribute them more easily. The images were blue prints back in the 1960s and then they were captured in micro-fiche and recently we have scanned them.
It looks like we need to rotate, crop, de-speckle, remove the blue background and increase the contrast to bring out the artwork and text. The ideal output is a clean black and white. Perhaps even some OCR for the 'PART NAME' and 'MODEL' areas of the plan.
Can you help? Here is a link to a raw file that has been rotated but nothing else.
