BACKGROUND
Human Resources at Edge Hill University is re-positioning itself as an integrated, collaborative and credible partner to the ‘business’ and as a champion of an outstanding employee experience.
This will involve changing perceptions, developing new relationships and showing/telling people that HR is ‘different’ now.
BRIEF
As part of this we would like a logo that supports this perceptual move and acts to support a clear sign that ‘things have changed’ and ‘things have moved on’.
We care about creating a working environment in which all staff can deliver outstanding performance where their knowledge, expertise, skills, innovation and creativity is effectively directed to achieve long term sustainability and success for the University.
CONCEPT
We think our logo should be:
• Bright
• Clean
• Colourful
It will ideally:
• Use our full title of Human Resources
• Work well on both dark and light backgrounds, or have a variant for both
It should demonstrate us to be:
• Professional
• Collaborative
• Credible
• Part of a ‘greater whole’
We would prefer a more abstract logo such as the ‘Catalyst’ logo below (our Library) and possibly a ‘faceted’ look used for our Learning & Development programmes.
We would like the colour pallet to work in the future which possibly represents the six different priority areas / pillars of our People Strategy.
