- I need 2 completely different responsive designs for a website.
An example website already exists. I will release the example website to the winning freelancer.
You will look at the website and I will send you the links to 4 pages.
Then you will provide me with:
- 2 unique designs for the 4 pages. For each unique design, you must provide the desktop and mobile design. The content on the new design will remain the same. You are just providing new designs around the same content.
Let me repeat this as it may be confusing to some people. You are going to provide me with 2 unique designs for each of the 4 pages. Each design should be show the desktop and mobile view.
One of the pages is the homepage. Once you complete this homepage, the remainder 3 pages should be quicker to finish as the header and footer will be the exact same.
So for e.g.
Homepage - provide 2 unique designs with each design in desktop and mobile view
Landing Page - Using the designs from the homepage, you will alter to main content area (link to existing site will be sent to the winning freelancer)
Second Landing Page - (link to existing site will be sent to the winning freelancer)
Article Page (link to existing site will be sent to the winning freelancer)
Important Points
Use bootstrap 12 column grid.
I will include images that can be used as the splash background images.
Use complementary colours. Warm, fun and modern tone.
Font and line height should be big and easy to read.
All icons to be used from the Free version of FontAwesome https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&m=free
The menu with have a drop down effect which will show the sub menus. This menu design should be shown in your final template. Add some background colour to the sub menus. Look at the sub menu for https://www.mint.com
There should be space for a Leaderboard image ad at the top of every page (between the bottom of the main menu and rest of page).
For Logo, you can provide 2 examples to go with each colour scheme. I will tell you the text name of the website and then you can create some kind of small icon that symbolizes the meaning of the text.
The following 2 websites provide examples of soft, warm colours.

Specific elements that should be included somewhere in the designs:
Page title (this is the equivalent of H1 in html)
Text link
Header section - this is the section above the primary menu. Should include search bar and simple text logo
Primary menu with highlighted active menu
Primary menu with user hovering over one menu item that will show the dropdown design
Footer section (3 columns)
Call to Action Button (also shown how it looks when you hover over it)
Provide all background images as separate images
