- I am an architectural designer looking to improve the quality of my renderings. I design custom homes, commercial projects and work with a local creative agency that develops conceptual designs for many large-scale commercial development projects. I currently do all of my 3D modeling in SketchUp 2018. I am looking to send my 3D models to someone who can create a certain "look" that I am going for and can render them in high-level photorealistic quality. (Please see attached examples for render quality)
JOB:
I am going to send you a 3D SketchUp model that includes all intended materials, landscaping, and each scene set-up for rendering.
However, I am looking for someone who's current rendering aesthetic matches (or comes close to) the "look" that I am searching for so that I can trust you to make any changes you deem necessary in order to achieve the highest quality render. You will be given artistic license to make changes to camera angles/landscaping/materials/model components or anything else that you think needs to be altered in order to improve the quality of the rendering.....
...BUT do so without compromising the original design.
This means, if you have better landscaping components (your cherry blossom tree is better quality than mine), better quality materials or architectural components (door handles, window frames, sliding door tracks, etc.) that still match what's already in the model I send you, please replace them. Or if you feel there is something missing that would improve render quality (like design details, decor, etc.) I would expect you to propose to me what you think needs to be added to make the render more photo-realistic.
I am giving you artistic license because I trust in your abilities as an artist & master of your craft. I also want to make both of our jobs as easy as possible, and to always have an open line of communication between us. I try to keep my 3D models very organized, label everything (layers/components/etc), and generally keep things clean and simple. If there is anything I can do on my end to communicate my ideas and make your job easier please let me know and I will do my best to oblige.
We will start with one trial rendering to ensure you can meet the criteria, and if it goes well, then there will be much more future work.
