- Hi,
I have commissioned calligraphy of a quote by Rumi (attached). I would like these set/manipulated so that they can be printed as tshirts/hoodies. I would like a selection of designs (3 main designs that are different from each other, then a sample of the same design in different colour schemes).
The quote is (translated): "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there." When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. [The part outside of quotes is the second part of the quote, for context, but isn't in the actual commissioned calligraphy].
My two guiding requirements are:
- a rose-red colour scheme that can be printed on a pink/beige tee
- a design inspired by Islamic architecture (see photo attached)
Beyond this you can be fairly experimental with the design.
Please note that the file attached is the calligraphy repeated in two layouts, so it's either the first four lines or the last two, not both together.
