- A series of eight simple sign images with text, with some whimsy or a touch of fun for a dog park. Create your favorite two and if awarded the winner
I'm making a web site about dogs and dog parks. I have attached eight signs that I need as part of a family. Colors to use are golds, blues and grays as those are colors dogs can see.
I want those who have a distinct style and a love of pets to do this for me and only do any two of the eight listed as your entry. If you are a finalist I will ask you to sketch the other six. If you win, you will need to provide the eight images both with text and without.
Keep in mind that these must be striking but simple in that they are friendly. It is a dog park not a no parking zone. You need to get the point across but can see from the language that we are softer spoken about it.
The design should have the following: Use of silhouettes is my suggestion, symbols in some ways but not quite so rigid or stodgy. Use your judgement if all the text is below the image. Broken out between above and below the graphic or the the side or above. Look at various outdoor signs, but be fun please as we are ultimately dealing with, yes, you guessed it, dog poop.
The font color should be different from the graphic color with strong contrasts. No shading or gradated coloring please. Thanks for you interest.
