- as a graphic web designer, I got to work with several companies, but it was my association with Tow Truck Industry which not only gave boost to my career but altered my perspective towards life too. Tow Truck Industry and the efforts they put in to save people’s lives inspired me to start “SDMO Apparel”.
To my great surprise, SDMO Apparel quickly attracts the attention of commuters and was well-received which compelled me to add more designs to this social-awareness campaign. I design creative apparel all pushing for awareness of Move Over Law and stressing the need to take care of the safety of Tow Truck Drivers and emergency personnel.
People generally are unaware about the Move Over Law, but they need to be educated regarding this, because it’s our moral, social and legal duty to protect those who are rescuing us from calamities. Tow Truck Vehicles are usually overlooked, but they also belong to the emergency First Responder team like police, ambulance, firefighters, etc.
Don the creatively designed SDMO Apparel; this will help you not only promote a crucial life saving law, save tow truck drivers but will also create awareness among your peers and other commuters regarding this crucial life saving Move Over Law and save lives.
What Should You Do?
When driving, it’s always important to be aware of your surroundings. It’s especially important to be alert and responsive to sirens and emergency flashing lights of emergency response vehicles. While move over laws varies state by state, they all have the same underlying themes:
When an emergency vehicle(s) are displaying flashing lights, slow down (generally 15-20mph less than the posted speed limit).
If conditions allow, safely vacate the lane closest to the stationary emergency response vehicle(s).
I would like to design Children's Activities pages that the art work supports the pushing for awareness of Move Over Law and stressing the need to take care of the safety of Tow Truck Drivers and emergency personnel.
