- Basic Photoshop Correction & Artwork Service required for UK Printing company. Looking to hire an artworker to spend around 30 mins to 1 hour a day checking files for print.
Job will involve receiving PNG, jpg, and PDF files via email download link daily.
1. Checking the file size and fixing height and width to the correct size for printing A6, A5, or A4
2. Ensuring all important image and text elements are a min of 5mm from the trimmed edge, and fixing if required.
3. Adding extra 3mm bleed around the edge of photoshop files by extending the background if required, using a combination of the clone tool, content aware fill.
4. Finally placing 2 photoshop files into an indesign page and exporting as PDF with trim marks and 3mm bleed.
Files will need to be fixed and placed in a dropbox folder for me to use for printing same day. Each job is a quick fix around 5-10 minutes depending on what needs doing.
I will pay based on the amount of files such as £1/1$ per image.
Job could expand into more work over time but initially I would expect this to be no more than 1 hour a day, 2 hours a day on busy days.
