- I will need 25 drawings for my novel I am releasing next year. I will only need one or two a month (perhaps more at the beginning, but there is no rushed timeline). I'd like to establish a trusting relationship with an artist that will be my only artist for chapter headings. As a graphic designer and artist myself, I have already done the cover and come promotional concept artwork pieces, but there may be room for more later. I think initially we would do one or two drawings to start off and make sure the style fits with my needs (and price). I'm not looking to rip anyone off and I make good money at my full time marketing director job so I am by no means looking for a hand out.
I like the sample of this work I have attached to this. If we could collaborate and create something like this with maybe a tiny splash of accent coloring and perhaps more of a darker science fiction/ horror feel with this kind of drawing style.
Let me know what you thoughts are on this and how much you would quote me per image for something like this.
Will provide website link and early chapter drafts upon acceptance of partnership.
