Description
About Vincent Reed.com
Founded in 1989 and based in the South East, Vincent Reed employ an established team of highly skilled artisan craftsman who share a passion for preserving the heritage of our buildings and their interiors. Vincent Reed works regularly alongside Historic Royal Palaces, English Heritage, National Trust and local conservation officers providing invaluable support and advice to our clients.

What we do
We specialise in sympathetic and traditional period wood restoration

Our projects vary in size from a Victorian semi-detached family home to a Grade I listed stately residence as well as some of our country’s most recognisable scheduled monuments, including Kensington Palace. Our focus is always to conserve and restore original features, whilst striking a balance with the needs of a space to live in and enjoy.

Our philosophy
Historic woodwork must be given the same treatment and respect that antique furniture demands

Over time surfaces take on a wonderful historic character and colour which is referred to as patina. When restoring, it is vital that this valuable detail remains. This is why we never use sanding machines and only ever use traditional techniques and materials to deliver a unique, beautiful finish every time.

www.vincentreed.com
https://www.vincentreed.com was redesigned in October 2018 and moved from Squarespace to Wordpress. Some URLS were changed and there was a new structure put in place. 301 redirects were put in place and meta-descriptions & page titles were updated.

Since the new site went live there has been a YOY decline in organic traffic. However, this appears to be traffic related to old articles on the site and NOT the home page. In fact, looking at October 2018 versus Jan 19, the home page is up 50% (see organic landing page report).

It also appears that the Google algorithm update that took place on the 14th February has negatively impacted the website - https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-update-valentines/293451/

In addition to these points, there has been a decline in quality form enquiries.

Target market
The target market for Vincent Reed is both commercial and domestic. Commercial customers include Historic Royal Palaces, the English Heritage trust, the National Trust and local conservation offices.

Domestic customers include High net worth individuals and/or owners of listed buildings who have private restoration projects
