- Hi,
I am looking for a creative writer with experience in journalism, research, and technology. Experience in HR is an asset. You must be a native English speaker. It would be best if you were an excellent researcher, critical and independent thinker who can process a large volume of diverse information, summarize it and prepare recommendations.
The task at hand is to undertake research about a company and document your findings. You will:
1) Put yourself in a job seeker's frame of mind and review a company's HR pages, job announcements, social media feedback, anything else you can find, i.e. anything that a real job seeker would pay attention to while considering whether to apply for a job.
2) You will document your journey in detail in the first person. You will have to adopt the role's tone, personality and voice (e.g. millennial IT job seeker). Experience in journalism would come in handy here.
3) You will provide constructive criticism of the current state of the resources you will use to learn about the job and the company and explain how this information impacted your decision-making process.
4) You will provide recommendations for improvement.
The reason I am looking for a creative writer in the first place is that the content should be written in an authentic, relatable, trustworthy voice, with a dash of humour and personality. It also should be professional and objective, include visuals to corroborate and amplify the message. You must be excellent at proofreading, style and grammar. I will not accept work with grammatical errors, even a draft.
The deliverable is a Word document, 2000-2500 words. Specific information about the role and the company will be provided after you sign an NDA. Please provide 2-3 samples of your previous work. If we get along, I might have more work for you.
