- I'm sure many of you have seen or may have been contracted by now as ghostwriters for folks selling ebooks on kindle. Same deal here. You have to agree to non-disclosure and to transfer all rights to myself upon payment. To reassert, I will own all rights once you are paid including but not limited to: byline, resale, ownership, copyright. If I need to draw up an agreement beyond this then I will. Applying for this you are already agreeing to the terms.
If you help create the story I'm looking for and are on board with a series, I may be willing to altar the agreement for the subsequent series to either pay you more or split the earnings (if any). You and I will need to really jive well and the ebook should be showing success.
As of now, I've written little more than half a page following the first few steps of the snowflake method to explain what I'm envisioning for this novel/series. I'm actually rather horrible at writing and apologize for that but I do have in mind the rules of the universe as it were.
I do enjoy reading certain subjects and hope you do to. And to prove you like reading, please include the phrase 'the worms crawl in' when applying. This will help me ensure the snowflakes aren't wasting my time.
Other requirements:
-needs to be formatted correctly for ekindle (including the table of contents which should be hyperlinked, chapter divisions, margins, etc).
-If word processor is set at 1" margins and 10 point Times New Roman, I would expect about 17,710 words for an appropriate size short story.
-The overall story is intended to be told over several publications. While I have in mind the overarching theme and some rules in which the environment will exist in, ultimately I will leave the majority of the story up to you.
-Plagiarism - big no no.
-Timeframe is negotiable. I would like something before the end of October but I care about the story and want it right so please provide an estimate / time table when you apply.

Here is what I have so far - this is my original content, don't be stealing it - (no names chosen yet for the characters, and the main character i prefer that his name be secretive, using aliases, a name reveal may occur much later in publications):
An immortal is forced to enter Universal Warfare to avert Universal Destruction.
Immortal(1), weary of his own kind’s lust for domination, seeks a homestead in a quiet realm where space travel has only recently become feasible. All immortals eventually become wealthy due to their longevity while also becoming the target of ridicule and fear. Immortal(1) investigates plots against his corporations only to discover other, less caring, immortals have also taken up residency in this realm with sinister intentions. A universal war erupts and Immortal(1) is forced to defend mortals against his own kind in a deadly conflict. Finding more immortals than he anticipated in this realm, Immortal(1) locates the mastermind of the current crisis and defeats him in an epic combat that leaves entire civilizations extinct.

- Immortal(1) has devoted himself to combative training while seeking peaceful living amongst the innumerable realms of existence.
- His temperament and philosophy leads him to seek out ways to live amongst the mortals as if he was one of them.
- He wants to live far from his kindred and forget about their malevolent philosophies.
- While he has devoted himself to combative training for self defense, he abhors the idea of ever entering conflict with one of his own kind, despite them constantly looking for reasons to annihilate one another.
- At some point in the story, He realizes that he is not all that different in his overall inherit desires (being wealthy, influential and over a great deal of people--aka corporation owner versus dictator / god man). However, because of his approach which errs on the side of ethical / moral, He does seem to have greater power than the other immortals (possibly fueled by an even hire power).
- Having settled in this realm for a number of centuries, Immortal(1) has built a corporation that mines and refines the most difficult of resources required for space travel. In addition, he is currently in progress to creating a megastructure around a small star as a harvesting mechanism. A series of setbacks and deadly accidents enlightens Immortal(1) to the fact that there are sinister plots in motion to entirely destroy his corporations and even threaten his immortality. The journey leads him to discover many other immortals whom have quietly taken up residence in the realm. Their evil nature has set them at odds with Immortal(1). Having created a coalition amongst themselves, they formulate a plan to kill Immortal(1) while seeking the realm’s population as religious slaves in an effort to enhance their own immortality and power. Immortal(1) is forced into a deadly conflict with the master mind and the results bewilders mortals and immortals alike!
