- I'm looking for a Guru that can take a number of documents and write a Computer Science paper from the information in the documents. The existing documents describe a path finding algorithm and were used in a patent application. The goal is to condense and format the information in such a way that it is of publish-level quality. The project will consist of four phases (please structure your proposal accordingly):
1) Review all existing materials and provide any necessary feedback or corrections to your proposal
2) Write Draft of paper
3) Modify Draft with my comments (if applicable). Once this phase has been completed, I will upload the document to arXiv for initial publication.
4) After a short duration to allow feedback and similar items from the publication in 3), modify the paper as needed to meet the requirements for publication in PeerJ or other peer reviewed journals.
Important: in order to have your proposal considered, your proposal must not be of a generic format/placeholder (I'm not asking for your resume but for a proposal for this project) - those will be promptly deleted.
Bonus considerations go to those who can demonstrate (links, references or similar preferred) that they have a background in CS (or at least a technical/scientific field) and publishing technical papers to peer reviewed journals.
If you have only a basic understanding of math/science then this is not going to be for you...

If you are unable to commit to good and timely communication, then we are likely not going to get along.
This is work-for-hire, you will not have any ownership of the resulting work.
In terms of payment, I recommend that you either provide a fixed hourly rate with an time estimate for each phase and a not-to-exceed (NTE) time allocation (and how are you guaranteeing that it will not be exceeded? Will you complete without additional invoicing?) -OR- a fixed cost which you are prepared to commit to (I will not tolerate a 'it took longer, this is what I have so far, now please pay me' discussion).
To give you a reasonably good idea of the amount of work that will go into this, the documents you will receive are:
- Published Patent (approx 9000 words, 19 pages mostly for reference only)
- White Paper (6,000 words, 12 pages)
- Grey Literature (7,000 words, 13 pages this is the main document)
- Two unfinished papers (2,000 words each, 9 pages each)
I will provide the documents to you once you sign my invention and non-disclosure agreement (INDA) which I will only provide upon receiving your satisfactory proposal.
If there are items that are unclear or that may affect the cost/duration, please state so in the proposal.
