Description: I'd like a piece that is background for a series of novels (drafts written) on the life and mindset of a West Indian / Bajan (Barbados) (woman preferably) going about their life. I know Barbados as a tourist, but what is it like for a native of the island? Are we (tourists) a distraction, something to be ignored, resented, just there? What are the priorities, issues, passions that consume the day? What is the character of the people - we see easygoing, friendly as tourists, but is that just an isolated view, a mask even? An honest, authentic insight would be appreciated. Price according to length, no specified length required. If willing, could use a read through of draft novels to revise dialogue to be more natural.
