- Busy blogger looking for a great virtual assistant who is fluent in English and an avid reader.
I would love to find a virtual assistant who is fluent in English, an avid reader who reads 3+ nonfiction books a week, and who is enthusiastic about lifelong learning and self-education. Topics include self-improvement and self-help, US politics and culture, and travel, for starters.
Duties will include:
- Editing and publishing new articles to my blog with a 24-hour turnaround
- Promoting new and old articles on social media
- Locating outlets for guest posting opportunities
- Locating magazines for paid writing opportunities
- Helping me with article research and citations
- Helping me with other overhead tasks that may come up, like helping me find a tax professional who works with digital nomads.
I am looking for someone who will also proactively suggest ways to make the business better that I don't think of. In other words, I'm looking for someone who will really help with the business, not someone who will simply robotically perform tasks.
It is all right if you don't know how to work with Wordpress, or have no formal editing experience - I want these skills, but it is more important to me to find someone who enjoys challenges and is hungry to learn. You can teach Wordpress, but you can't teach internal motivation.
There is no shift requirement for this job - work whenever you want, from wherever you want, as long as you have a 24-hour turnaround time on task (unless otherwise stated).

4. What are your aspirations for your career? As in, what do you *really* want out of Guru?
5. Why are you applying to this job posting? It's all right if your answer is just "I need the money," or if your answer is "I need the money and I am excited about working whenever fits best in my schedule." What I want is to honestly know your motivations.
