- We're creating an exam to assess transcribers in the Thai language.
Below are the requirements of the exam:
Design a test/exam to evaluate the Thai skills of non-native speakers, it should consist of 150 questions (including 120 recorded questions).
The exam/test should be divided into 4 parts: Listening, Spelling, Grammar, and Guidelines with the below distribution:
30 Guidelines Questions [15 Transcription + 15 MCQ or TF]
30 Grammar Questions [15 Transcription + 15 MCQ or TF]
30 Spelling Questions [15 Transcription + 10 MCQ or TF]
60 Listening Questions [40 Transcription + 20 MCQ or TF]
For the MCQ, you’ll provide 1 right answer, and 3 wrong answers;
For the Guidelines ONLY, you’ll provide an explanation for the right answer in the explanation column;
For the Transcription Questions, you’ll write the statement in the Prompt column, and right it again in the Right Answer column.
The Guidelines section is the only one that should have subsection filled in.
Statistically, add weights to the answers (rank) based on their importance.
There should be no questions with a free text or a fill-in option.
The exam will follow Bloom's Taxonomy's framework [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloom%27s_taxonomy].
The deliverables will be in an excel sheet as the sample attached.
For all the questions that need audio files, you’ll record them in MP3 format – leaving 1 second before speaking and 1 second after speaking – with the naming of the files as follows:
The following is the code to name the audio file for any questions that require audio:

Transcription Question = TQ
Numbering is from 1 to 150, based on the number of the question that has the audio file in it.
If you are to choose to work in this project, we can agree on the fees for the 150 questions, and we will need you to record all the questions that have audio [Y] in front of it {In an Excel template that will be shared with you}.
