Description
Our team is expanding, and we’re interested in hiring you! Do you enjoy writing romance novels? Are you passionate about creating sharp, exciting, and steamy stories that will make readers hungry for more? If you are, then keep reading!

Here’s the fun stuff! We’re hiring a GHOSTWRITER for the following project:
• A ROMANCE story that will be told over 5 ebooks, like a series. Each individual book should follow the same characters through the same story, and each book should end with a cliff hanger that leads into the next book. Each book will also have a book description.
• Each of the 5 ebooks will be approximately 25 pages long, in a properly formatted Word document (Times New Roman 10 pt, single-spaced). Deadlines for each document will be approximately 1-2 weeks.
• You may be asked to read similar published content to get an idea of the format and style requested. You are expected to research any concepts which are unfamiliar, depending on the story (like how a hospital functions, or what it’s like to feed horses).
• You must be able to write sex scenes and other intimate moments in a tasteful manner.
• You must provide a story outline and provide regular updates on progress. Story development will be agreed upon by both parties. Your creativity is a valuable asset.

Here’s the boring stuff. We only want to work the best of the best!
1. All work must be 100% original. Submitted work will be verified for plagiarism. Any evidence of plagiarism will void our contract and result in non-payment.
2. You must be able to write in North American English. We prefer to work with writers from the US, Canada, and the UK. Your work should be self-edited for spelling and grammar mistakes. Evidence of inferior quality of language will void our contract and result in non-payment.
3. We will retain all rights to the finished property, including but not limited to: copyright, intellectual property, author, byline, resale, ownership, publishing, and distribution. Successful payment to you enacts this clause.
4. All documents must be formatted for Kindle eReaders, including Table of Contents. Documents should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. Documents should be written in Times New Roman 10 pt, single-spaced, with 1-inch margins. If a document size (10,000 words) or length (25 pages) is specified, you must respect this requirement.
5. Deadlines must be respected. We understand life happens, but work must be completed in a timely manner. Missed deadlines will void our contract and result in non-payment.

Have you written any eBooks before? We’d love to read them! Send us some samples so we can see how awesome you are. Or jot down 500 words about a first kiss or a donut. Show us what you’ve got! Seriously, we won’t hire you without knowing how great you are.

Do you have a great idea for a great book? Just tell us what it is, and if it fits within our publishing guidelines, we’ll pay you to write it!

Do you hate spammers as much as we do? Prove to us that you’ve read this posting by including the word “Vanilla” in your application. It’ll boost your chances of getting hired.

Thanks for your interest in this job!

P.S. We’ve been saving the best for last – if your work is truly amazing, then we have a ton of work for you! Like tons. Being awesome will definitely pay off!
