- Hi.
I am putting the finishing touches on an E-book. I am using INDesign(Adobe) software and expect to be finished by the end of the week. I am not a professional writer, yet I have been itching to do and complete this book for some time now. It's a book whose time has come.
Stylistically, it somewhat falls into a how-to book with some good old fatherly wisdom. It is written in a casual linguistic style that I would like maintained. The words used and the sentence construction is, and I am guessing, at the 6 - 8th grade level: I want it that way. I want the book to have a broad appeal. I want it easily read by young people starting out regardless of educational level. I want it easily understood and digestible.
The book is fairly anecdotal. The book will be supported by a YouTube channel.
First and foremost the book needs another set of eyes - i.e. proofreading.
Secondly, I am open to suggested format and editing changes if you are well versed in how the Adobe software actually performs online. I would be happy to review (and pay) for something you have produced for another client.
The format of the book is simple and powerful:
outlined first is the problem/challenge
second are solutions, highlighted or different backdrop in another color, on a subsequent page
third, the backstory - a compilation of anecdotes outlining why the solutions will work
The book is simple it should end up between 50 - 100 pages. The online version will be released first.
