- I am looking for someone with excellent english and literary skills to edit the content and copy edit my book. A business background is a definite plus but not a requirement.
The book has already been though a couple self editing phases, but this is the final edit before the book will be published on amazon in a few weeks.
It is a book about the reason you go to college that talks about how to be successful in college outside the classroom. It give a different perspective on the college experience and allows for high school and college students to get better value in the degree they receive. The book does have a focus on African American experience in college and being raised in an urban household.
I am very open to criticism and dialogue throughout the process and promote it. I hope you will have questions for me throughout as I will have questions as well.
As far as the editing goes, I’m on a pretty short deadline, so I need someone who can work quickly and focus attention on this project over the next 3 weeks.
I need content and copy edits completed by April 12th
The book is approx. 77,000 words, 11 chapters with an intro and outro and approximately 175 pages on microsoft word 11 font.
Please be prepared to do a short edit (about 3 pages 1800 words) of the introduction to give you a better idea of the book and so I can have an idea of your editing style. ($10 payment)
I’m working on this book with previous best sellers, so this will be great exposure for you and your work.
