- All topics should contain a minimum of 2k+ words, be supported with framework and methodologies where applicable and ALL must start with a summary of the key highlights/insights/concept from the content.
Content Brief Guideline - Notwithstanding the details provided for each topic, all content must conform to the Content Brief Guidelines below;
• Objective: To create engaging, educational, step-by-step guide targeted at Entry to Mid-Level Employees.
• Target Audience: Entry – Mid Level Employees (Novice – Experienced should be able to extract value from the content).
• Success Metrics – Well written, Rich Content, Research based, Interesting to read, Case Study Driven, Story Telling, Best Practices Oriented, How-To-Do-It Guide, Framework based. If target audience wants to implement, they should be able to do so after reading the content. It is important that each of the article should serves as a step by step guide/workbook for the target audience.
• General Format for developing Topics - What is it? Why does it matter? Why should individuals embrace the concept – What is in it for them? How to do it (Framework, tools and templates). Case Study/Benchmark – Where has it been done successfully before? Key Lessons. Summary of content at the end.
• Contextual – All content developed must be context sensitive. EMEA regional context is much preferred to USA.
Topics and Brief Explanation
1. Understanding Organisations – This content should seek to educate target about what organisations are, various types of organisations/businesses, etc. It should clearly detail the key features of effective organisations, the nature and purpose of organisations, the relationship between organizational structure, culture and performance and lastly the role and importance of power, conflict and influencing strategies within organisations. Use of case studies is important to give a more practical understanding of the topic. (The entire content should conform to the Content Brief Guideline provided above).
