Description: The novel would explore the role of opioids as a tool of social control and the reasons/reactions people have for/to taking opioids. The novel would take place in a semi-dystopian future. The intersection between the human reasons for taking opioids and the sinister reasons large institutions have for producing such harmful substances. An in-depth chapter by chapter plan can be shared if a deal is reached.
