- Owkin is an AI biotechnology company that uses AI to find the right treatment for every patient. We combine the best of human and artificial intelligence to answer the research questions shared by biopharma and academic researchers. The Federated Data Network team is in charge of building Owkin’s data network for drug and diagnostics development.
We are seeking a Technical Writer to work closely with the Federated Learning squad to document Substra. The overall goal of the job is to write the technical documentation of Substra. This documentation will be hosted with the existing user documentation on https://docs.substra.org/. Some technical documentation is already available in the source code at the component level (see backend documentation and orchestrator documentation).
Mission:
- Work with software engineers, machine learning engineers and product managers to gather information about Substra and create documentation, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams and other technical documents.
- Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Submit work iteratively, that is to say submitting updates on a weekly basis through Pull Request.
- Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and best practices.
- Organise and maintain documentation in a clear and concise manner for easy access and reference.
- Onboard the team to ensure the technical documentation can be continuously updated and improved as Substra evolves.
