Video Patrolling Services (VPS) is seeking an outbound telesales pro with high-ticket closing experience, to lead and manage the launch of our initial national online sales campaign.

The product VPS wishes to begin selling via online telesales on a national basis has been on the market for over 10 years now.

Over that period, although just to limited geographic areas, we have been successfully selling our unique outdoor wireless camera network technology to city (police), county (Sheriff’s), federal (Public Housing Authorities) agencies, as well as many businesses, and other entities, that have widespread venue properties

VPS designs, installs and manages these customized wireless video surveillance camera networks. Over time we have compiled an impressive customer list, which provides us with great references and many referrals.

Furthermore, our existing government agency business has produced many contracts that have determined us to be a sole-source supplier. This means other new customer prospects, who normally may have to go through a competitive bidding process to buy from us, have similar agencies inviting them to “piggyback” on their active, available contracts with our parent company, TEI Innovations.

Our new sales campaign is designed to spread the word about VPS for the first time online. To not only expose new prospects to what VPS offers, but how affordable our advanced public-safety technology is to deploy across their city, county or business property.

Virtually all our transactions are high-ticket sales........ranging from $5K - 200K. Our outbound Telesales Closer specialist will close sales as part of this project, but also will train our personnel in how it is done, largely through their demonstration of how it is done..

During this telesales campaign there will be a substantial amount of sales support provided as part of our overall team sales approach.

Our online presentations will begin with live outdoor wireless camera demonstrations, showing the prospect a VPS customer’s live cameras, such as police department prospects will see the St. Augustine Police Department’s live wireless cameras and playback of recorded video.

Through the SAPD’s city-wide wireless camera network, they will also see other VPS 6.0 wireless cameras we sold to the National Park Services’ (NPS), to cover their historic Spanish Fort and the surrounding grounds.

These, along with many other wireless cameras VPS has sold to other local businesses, are all wirelessly connected into the SAPD’s VPS 6.0 city-wide wireless camera network, giving police immediate access to the their live cameras and recorded video when incidents occur on their property.

Some other local businesses are marinas, school campuses, city parks, apartments, public housing authorities, parking lots, and other local widespread properties.

The second part of our new online presentation for a new sales prospect, includes a Power Point, customized to their particular vertical market. These will always be prepared ahead by our sales support team to show them their own property on a Google Earth satellite (KMZ) file.

This will be a preliminary wireless camera network layout across their city, county or property, with all suggested wireless camera cluster locations shown, along with each individual camera’s field-of-view (FOV).

Then the third segment of the initial sales presentation will have them join our desktop to tweak or redesign the preliminary outdoor wireless camera layout we projected for them into something reflecting their actual camera coverage preferences.

After the third segment is completed, we are able to immediately quote them a firm price for their custom-designed wireless camera network, making this potentially a very short sales cycle.

However, in many cases, after the prospect has learned in the second segment more about what we offer, they may then want to schedule a later meeting to bring in other stakeholders to participate in determining their final camera layout design.

Either way, for his kind of expenditure, unless we are talking to the business owner who can make a quick decision, most of our prospects must get some internal approvals before they can sign a contract and we can close the sale.

But again, those delays are often mitigated when we offer to “piggyback” them on our existing sole-source contracts to eliminate any lengthy competitive bidding process.

The objective of this job posting is for VPS to locate and hire an expert telesales pro to act as our consultant to manage the initial online sales campaign launch. This will largely be done by demonstrating to our existing sales personnel how these sales are made.

Therefore, VPS is willing to pay a substantial one time fee for launching this project. In addition to the project fee, if allowed by Guru, we can also pay a small bonus for actual sales closed.
