- Our company, Tunescribers (www.tunescribers.com) provides music transcription services to customers throughout the English-speaking world. We currently get our customers from Google organic search, Google ads, and word of mouth. Right now our social media presence is just a Facebook page www.facebook.com/tunescribers/ which we update infrequently, pretty much whenever we run a promotion, maybe once every two months.
We are now looking for a part time Social Media Director to increase our visibility and customer acquisition in the social media space. Specifically, we want someone who will maintain a vibrant and enthusiastic presence for us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, engaging with musicians and music lovers who will become our customers and recommend us to others.
You must have the following qualifications: (1) you must be fluent in American English language and culture; (2) you must be a musician, either professional or amateur, with strong knowledge of different musical genres; (3) you must be able to read sheet music and understand music terminology; and (4) you must be extremely comfortable with the social media platforms noted above, with a track record of prior work on these platforms.
You will be paid $150 USD per month. In addition, you will have a $100/month budget to spend on social media advertising. You will manage your time and your ad budget. You will not need to manage our Google Ads budget, we will continue to do that. We will provide you with admin access to our social media accounts.
Your work will be evaluated based on the overall quality of the content you produce, and the number of visits to our website that result directly from your work. We are planning to engage you for an initial 4-month trial period, but the engagement can be terminated earlier than that if either party is unhappy with results so far.
