- As a Part-Time Logistics Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team by handling various logistics tasks associated with our projects. You will collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure smooth logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify suitable warehouse facilities and storage solutions for project needs.
Coordinate transportation and shipping logistics, including arranging pickups, deliveries, and tracking shipments.
Assist in managing inventory and tracking equipment or materials required for projects.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, evaluating options, and negotiating pricing.
Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for project team members, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and schedule project-related meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, such as shipping records, inventory lists, and logistics reports.
Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Provide general administrative support to the project management team, including organizing files, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but no must.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in using logistics and project management software/tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of IT project management methodologies and practices is a plus.
Flexibility to work part-time hours based on project needs.
Ability to travel within Europe
