- I am looking for a developer of games to create a simple game for children between the ages of 3-8 years old. The reason for such a vast span with ages, my philosophy, every child learns at their own pace. Some learn earlier than others.
It will be featured on my children’s website I am planning to launch by the end of this year. You will have to be familiar with English grammar on the pre-kindergarten and up to the second grand level. The lesson will be about vowels, A E I O U and some not all of the uses of the vowels. I will provide to you my video narrative on the lessons of vowels. All you need to do is create a game that will help a child challenge themselves in knowing the vowels.
Example: all letters of the alphabet will appear on the screen and the child will have to click on the letter(s) that are used as vowels. They would have to click on A E I O U or Y. Each time the child clicks on the right letter (meaning vowel) they will get 5 points until it adds up to 1OO.
Then they would go to the next page and have to pick out words that have the letter Y that acts like a vowel but is pronounced like I. example: fly, shy, my, by, sky etc. Each time the child clicks on the right words they will get 10 points until it adds up to 1OO.
Then the third challenge a child will pick out the words that appear on the screen when the Y sounds like the letter E. Example: silly, Billy, Lilly, Willy etc. Each time the child clicks on the right words they will get 10 points until it adds up to 1OO.
300 points all together
The points are changed into dollars at the end of the game. 10 points will equal $10 . The player gets to buy something at the end of the game. Or They can just get a congratulations with horns and balloons and a narrator giving them praise.
MY IDEA OF A GAME IS NOT SET-IN-STONE!!! This is just my idea. Please, If you have another idea that might be a little better, present it to me and i will consider it.The main thing is to make this a VERY SIMPLE exercise, more like a work book game you find in the stores for children.
DO NOT USE A COPYRIGHT WORKSHEET FOR VOWELS YOU FOUND ONLINE. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING SUED! I will provide you with my children’s story that this game will be based on. All the words in the story are to be used. There are very few words but they make the point. Other words can be added but they must reflect the particular lesson being taught.
Remember we want it simple enough for children between the age of 3-7 years old.
