- What types of projects are we interested in completing with freelancers?
The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is interested in developing at least two new applications at this point as described below:
NEW UCC APP #1 – “UCC Video Lectures App”:
Watch UCC Asynchronous Video Lectures & Courses from your Smart Phone or Tablet!
“UCC Video Lectures/MOOCs” is an online learning platform featuring UCC video courses taught by local & international UCC expert instructors. Take courses in anything from programming languages eg. X, to Y. Join the thousands of UCC students who will now be using this new platform to reinforce their learning especially for difficult concepts taught in their regular face to face or Online classes, mastering new skills & advancing their studies!
LEARN SOMETHING NEW ON TOPIC OR REINFORCE YOUR LEARNING FOR A DIFFICULT TOPIC::
Discover video lectures (featuring audio of the instructor's voice ONLY whilst teaching but showing actual video of the white board itself as the lecturer writes on it using appropriate technology) in over 20 modules - eg. from XXXXXX and XXXXXXX to Marketing, XXXXXXX, and XXXXXX.
LEARN AFFORDABLY: UCC has both free and paid lectures within your budget. Once you’ve enrolled in a lecture or course, you’ll have access to the content during your studies at the UCC!.
LEARN FROM LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL UCC EXPERTS: Be inspired by at least 100+ expert UCC instructors teaching asynchronously ie. on-demand lectures.
LEARN ADDITIONAL MATERIALS RELEVANT TO YOUR UCC LECTURES OR COURSES FROM ANYWHERE: Download courses to learn offline. On the go? Listen to lectures or courses in audio-only mode.

Section B: (Student Referral Program)
In this section students will be able to make referrals via this app of other prospective students & receive various levels of tuition waivers/discounts on their own tuition depending on the number of persons they refer and who eventually successfully register for any UCC degree program.
In this regard, they should be able to conveniently enter the name of prospect(s) they have referred along with other basic pertinent information into the app, which should then be able to search an appropriate database of new registrants and match the name(s) against the database to verify that said person(s) had in fact applied and enrolled in a program of study. The new registered student would also need to further verify that he/she was in fact referred to UCC by the said student who made the referral.
Once confirmed, the stipulated/stated percentage tuition waiver/discount for the student who successfully made the referral should be automatically applied against his/her tuition account.
How many freelancers/contractors does our company currently work with or plan to work with?
We do not currently work with any freelancers locally or internationally. We are not sure as yet how many we will need for the above projects. We hope we will not need more than one or two.
