- My website is a wordpress website hosted on Siteground and I built it myself. The site has a dev and prod website. The DEV website is https://staging1.cyber-wolf.com and whatever is done here I can easily push out to live as it over writes the live copy. I will grant whoever is working on this project access to the DEV site.
The site is built on the Astra Pro theme with Elementor Pro. The slider is built (badly!) with Smart Slider 3 Pro. The top and bottom menus are not great. There are a few problems with the site such as the Custom Adobe Fonts (Typekit) not displayed properly and overall the site feels pretty amateur from my perspective. I want to achieve a polished site that works on all platforms and mobile devices. Getting this cleaned up is the first phase of this project which is the scope of this requirement. There are other phases I have in mind over time such as incorporating Pipedrive forms, lead generation through online cyber healthchecks and an e-commerce section for the purchase of reports. Potentially I am looking for someone to work with on over the next few months as I can afford to add sections and features.
The requirement is to work with me to optimise and sort out the layout of the home page including Smart Slider 3 Pro by creating an Elementor Pro template I can populate with text and images. The layout of this home page is something that I have in mind. The website needs to end up with a sitemap that is a bit similar to a competitor - https://www.xyonecybersecurity.co.uk/ - in so far as the top menus but the whole purpose of my website is to try to funnel visitors into leads. Lead capture is important. The primary purpose of this website is to drive traffic to lead capture and wanting to work with me.
I want to do this by having someone create for me standard templates (and blocks if appropriate) in Elementor Pro that are responsive and I can drag on to pages to create consistency as the company develops. I am looking for someone to take care of the technical side of making stuff responsive and consistent with brand. What I want to do is to create the pages as I need, add them to the menu, change the copy, change the images and then push out.
The initial tasks I want done are:
1/ Create a responsive template for the header and footer that has a CTA and can be altered and customised as needed for whatever the current campaign is and drives people to the appropriate landing page.
2/ Create a template pack for Cyberwolf using Elementor Pro much like that in Envato Elements - see attached - that is responsive and provide a consistent look and feel using the company branding, colours and fonts and be optimised so that I can just use these to add pages and have the layout as I need already figured out. I have some designs in mind for the home page/landing pages for example but I have struggled with creating the templates and making sure responsive modes work. I just want to be able to create a page from a page template, alter the wording and alter the images where needed in Elementor Pro, add it to a sub menu and it just works on all platforms. The template pack should include two potential home page layouts (for possible A/B tests), a services overview page, a service detail page (which is a landing page), an about us page, a careers/work with us page, an events page template, a solutions page (who we work with), a social media / vblog / blog page and a contact us page.
3/ I want all of the templates and plugins that are not being used on the site removed and everything tidied up.
4/ I want all of the images optimised (e.g. SMUSH'ed) and all the images that are in the library that are not being used deleted (e.g. using Meow Media Cleaner)
5/ Sort out the sliders and create standard sliders in Smart Slider 3 Pro making sure that they do not take too long to load and they are optimised for mobile devices and responsive mode (including making sure the sliders are included where appropriate in the page templates).
6/ I need all of the GDPR / privacy policy sorted out
7/ I need to be able to use tracking cookies, pixels etc (which I need to learn more about from my marketing course I am taking)
8/ SEO and google optimised for searches. I want to appear on page 1 of google searches....
