- What is it
It is a travel platform with focus on attending Football games across european Football leagues to begin (there maybe others in upcoming phases) with existence across android, ios, the web. The platform should be modular in language with Arabic and English as a start with the ability to add languages later.
Users
Anyone interested in travelling and specifically attending football matches in person. There will be other reservation services provided such as car rentals and apartment rentals. However, the main focus remains to be attending football matches.
Mobile application is the ultimate usage of a loyal users, but you need to take into consideration why would a user download an app
1- Need to have a daily, weekly or at least monthly need/reason of using the app
2- The reason could be one of:
Demand a Service
consumption of Content
Rewarding and points collection.
3- The mobile application is a channel that requires a smart approach in e-commerce where the steps to install an app can interrupt the conversion rates
Lately the PWA is a common practice in e-commerce as of the following:
Less development work
Efficiency of PWA in having a similar experience to Native mobile apps
Loading time of PWA-enabled platforms is significant faster.
Enables higher conversion and the ability to adapt and adopt any new trends and landing pages that we might require.
So accordingly we recommend to build a platform based on PWA practices and browser based with the ability to create a framed app of the browser site “HTML5”
Access
Users should be able to access the mobile website or download the applications (ios, android) from the respective stores as well as be able to register independently and use without having a mobile device thru the web via a dedicated website. Users should be allowed to utilize existing names via google, twitter or facebook as a login. Users should be able to retrieve their password if they forgot it. Browsing around the application does not require registration so if I just want to shop availability, it is not a must. If a user makes it thru to the booking process, they will be offered the chance to register, even then, they may continue as guest and their order # is sent to them via email. The order # and email would be their reference. In the event a user is registered, their information would be stored and they may view their order #s and bookings thru the app or website.
Features
A tabular start page is envisaged with options for the user to select from, users may be able to search by league, game, team or date specific. Other features would be a car rental service, apartment rental service and sports sites options which could be browsed by country and date as they are subject to availability.
Settings, user control, account email, password, etc.. this is where the user will manage their account.
Orders, past history for user activity.
Admin (only restricted access) – This will be the brain of the application, the games, number of available tickets, leagues, hotels, prices and how calculations are done all are based on input done by the admin. All the user searches and availability will be determined here. Naturally, the application should be smart enough to deduct the availability of tickets based on closed and finalized orders. This will have to be a smart database design with an admin panel to edit the entries that control the app behavior from a ticketing and availability perspective. Same for car and apartment rentals. At a later stage, we may connect to a partner booking service to search availability online for the user. For the early stages, we will connect to an API of a specific hotel provider. Also, the API’s for apartment renting will connect to provider’s API’s with the possibility to add more later.
Administering users should also be enabled for the admin where he can send users reset password links, disable / enable users, send notifications to all users.
Last minute offer: that feature will be available in match day before 12 hours from kick off.
Notifications, the user should receive notifications when a certain booking is almost due or if the admin sends a special notification to all users or a him specifically.
Payments, the app will be receiving payments to close orders so a proper payment gateway and processing is required.
Language: the application should work with Arabic and English and we will add more languages later.
City guide maps: we need to add a section for few cities in Europe.
In that section the user will find the sport City Sightseeing such as : clubs official stores- stadium- sport bar - players restaurant…
We will use google map in that section.

Development phases
The development of the platform should be in phases that will be determined during project preparation and execution. However, the development plan should focus on getting phase 1 out the door soonest possible and this phase will include the mobile website, CMS, payment gateway and football ticketing along with hotel selection. The rest can be planned in agreement once the development company is selected.
Winning company
The winning company should show proof of successful e commerce development thru existing apps and a portfolio of like developments for evaluation.
